Guests consistently praise the Intercontinental Edinburgh The George's prime location, finding it convenient for accessing Waverley station, Princes Street, and other attractions, including a Hard Rock Cafe just across the street. Many rooms are described as spacious and well-appointed, with some offering views of the Firth of Forth and Edinburgh sunsets; the generous Byredo shower gel is a frequently appreciated touch. While most find the hotel quiet, a few guests have occasionally noted noise from the street. The varied breakfast options are a highlight for many, offering both buffet choices and hot food from a menu.

Excellent city center stay

really good servicehelpful doormenextensive choicesnoisy air conditioning
The staff impressed me with their really good service. The doormen were consistently helpful, even providing umbrellas during rain. The breakfast buffet included many choices. It also offered an option to order hot food from a separate menu.
The noisy air conditioning made it difficult to sleep. I found that the only way to stop it was to remove the key card. Removing the key card for electricity was not ideal.
